Deek Duke is a Lebanese restaurant and food chain. They are known for their great chicken plates, whether fried or grilled, Lebanese or American-style. They also have interesting burgers and sandwiches.
I collaborated on the re-branding and packaging design of Deek Duke with JoeFish Studios in Lebanon back in 2014-2015.
My design role included the packaging layouts, art direction and graphic design. In addition to outsourcing a copywriter and deciding which creative copy is best for each package. Moreover, I set the mood-board for all the various doodles and illustrations.
• Challenge: Re-branding an existing visual identity while maintaining the brand’s authenticity and how the audience perceive it. Staying relevant to the old packaging design without causing a dramatic new shift.
• Results: Achieving a more modern packaging identity which is more trendy, youthful and dynamic; reflecting the target audience.
