Overview
KNGRO is a US-based service that connects travelers and shoppers. It’s a social platform and mobile application for shoppers seeking unique items from around the world, and for travelers looking to earn money by delivering these items.Location shouldn’t limit one’s experiences, and this app brings the pleasures of the world to its users’ doorstep quickly, easily and inexpensively.
Goal
Creating a modern user-friendly digital interface – practical and unsophisticated.
Outcome
A fully designed Website and developed App with a seamless omni-channel brand + user experience. Unfortunately, the 2020 pandemic severely affected business growth and limited expansion opportunities, because all travel was put on hold for at least a year. The business remains open for potential investors and funding.
Insights
KNGRO applies to a worldwide audience and fulfills a global need of transporting items/ goods within a cheaper cost, in the fastest way possible, utilizing empty spaces of people on the move. The service provides a Win/Win situation for the requester and mover. The requester will benefit from cheaper costs and faster service. He/She will have the privilege of setting the price for the service, and the mover will make a decent amount of money out of his/her empty unused space.
Give access to Duty-Free for all. Why limit duty-free items to airport customers?

Ideation & Service Concept
The main idea is to utilize the empty spaces designated for people on the move (Group A), and using those spaces to transport items for another group of people (Group B) that happens to be along the trajectory or final destination of Group A. Traveling from point A to B can include planes, trains, boats, cars, motorcycles, bicycles and even walking. This is reflected within the entire UX/UI.
Key learnings
As designers or entrepreneurs, some things in the world remain beyond our control. We may develop the best Service Experience or App Design; however, world events or a collective health crisis may shut everything down. Acceptance is key so we may discover how to pivot.
